Conference participants and attendees of the conference will have the opportunity to “mix business and pleasure”, and take advantage of what Chania and Crete have to offer. More information and some suggestions of what to see will be provided soon!

Chania

Chania (also spelled Hania) is located on the northwest coast of Crete, the largest of the Greek islands, and the fifth largest island in the Mediterranean Sea. Chania’s main sights include its 14th-century Venetian harbor, narrow streets and waterfront restaurants. At the harbor entrance is a 16th-century lighthouse with Venetian, Egyptian and Ottoman influences.
