How to prepare your paper<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Full\/complete papers must be submitted online, electronically<\/strong> through the PaperCept Conference Management System<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paper format<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The submitted papers should follow the usual IEEE paper format for conferences (two-columns, 10 point, Times New Roman). For your convenience, templates are available<\/strong> for LaTeX<\/a> and MS Word<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can submit your paper in PDF format, or, use PaperCept<\/em> for compliant PDF conversion from LaTeX and MS Word documents. Please refer to the PaperCept<\/em> Support page<\/a> for details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paper length and file size limitations<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The maximum paper length is six (6) pages,<\/strong> including all illustrations and references. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If your paper is accepted, you have the option to add up to two (2) additional pages in the final version to incorporate feedback and suggestions provided by reviewers. Please be aware that additional pages will incur an extra charge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also, please note that PDF files larger than 2 MB cannot be uploaded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On-line paper submission<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

MED \u201924 uses PaperCept<\/strong> <\/a>(formerly PaperPlaza<\/strong>) <\/em>conference management system or submission of conference contributions and the peer-review process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All contributions to MED \u201924 \u2013 Contributed<\/em> papers, Poster<\/em> papers, Invited session <\/em>papers, as well as invited session proposals \u2013 must be submitted online, in electronic format.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Registration for first-time users<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To use PaperCept<\/em>, you need a personal \u201caccount\u201d \u2013 called PIN<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you used PaperCept<\/em> before, there is no need to register again \u2013 please use your existing PIN.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you do not have a PIN, please register by using the PIN Wizard<\/a> first (once the new window opens, select the option \u201cRegister a new PIN<\/strong>\u201c).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Submitting your work<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Have a valid PIN and password ready, as well as the document you plan to submit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To submit your contribution, please follow the steps below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Go to https:\/\/controls.papercept.net<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Scroll down through the list of conferences to find MED ’24<\/strong> or search for \u201cMED 2024<\/strong>\u201d (type Ctrl+F to activate search and type \u201cMED 2024\u201d as a search string). Click on the link \u201cSubmit a Contribution to MED 2024<\/strong>\u201c. The next page is called \u201cSubmission Wizard<\/strong>\u201c.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. In the Submission Wizard page, submit the paper under the appropriate type of submission<\/strong> (contributed paper<\/em>, poster paper<\/em>, invited session paper, invited session proposal<\/em>).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Follow the submission steps.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Upon successful submission of a manuscript, the system automatically sends an acknowledgement to the corresponding author with copies to all the co-authors.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Review process<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    All papers will undergo a peer review process following IEEE rules\/policies, and they will be checked using iThenticate <\/em>Plagiarism Detection Software for originality.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
