Paper length and file size limitations

Please note the paper length limitations for this conference:

  • The “regular” paper length is six (6) pages, including all illustrations and references.
  • The maximum number of pages permitted in an initially submitted paper is eight (8), six (6) pages – regular length – plus two (2) extra pages.
Please note that extra pages will incur an extra-page fee at the time of final submission, and plan accordingly.
  • The maximum number of pages permitted in an accepted paper to be uploaded in the final form is also eight (8) – six (6) regular pages plus a maximum of two (2) extra pages allowed at a cost of 100 € per extra page.

Illustrations and references are included in the page count.

Also note that PDF files larger than 2 MB cannot be uploaded into the system.

Final submission – accepted papers only

Submitted papers will undergo a very thorough peer review process coordinated by the Program Chairs, the IPC and qualified reviewers. Authors will be notified of acceptance by April 16, 2018.

Authors are encouraged to accompany their presentations with multimedia material (i.e., videos), which will be included in the Conference Digital Proceedings. Conference Proceedings will be acquired by IEEE and they will appear in IEEE Xplore.

The submission of paper implies that one of the authors will register and present the paper at the conference. Registration is considered valid only after the registration fee has been paid in full.

Only accepted papers presented at the conference will be included in IEEE Xplore.

Accepted papers in the final format must be uploaded electronically and one of the paper authors must register no later than May 7, 2018 – this is a very hard deadline.
